Thoughts On Medford's New Street Lights

Do you think the five Southaven Avenue intersections now with lights are safer? Talk about it in the comments.

Five intersections along Southaven Avenue in Medford have had their stop signs replaced by traffic lights over the summer.

Brookhaven Town Supervisor Ed Romaine told Patch previously that multiple studies of the Avenue started 10 years ago, and that Brookhaven Town had the five intersections on high accident lists for multiple years in a row.

The intersections on Southaven Avenue that have added the lights include Sipp Avenue, Maple Avenue, Whitepine Way, Tremont Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Now that the lights have been installed for several weeks now, Patch wants to know what you think of them? Do you feel the intersections are safer? Or perhaps are they more dangerous? Talk about it in the comments section below this post.
